Every Midlife Crisis Needs A List

What does a compulsive organizer do when she enters her midlife crisis? Create a list of course.

As I reflected on the first half of my life and contemplated the second, I really wished I had written down more about my life experiences.  But I have never been one of those 'journaling' kind of people.  No matter how many resolutions I made that this was going to be the year...I could never get myself to sit down and do it.  But now I realize that my perception of journaling may have been too narrow...

About 6 months ago, I came across Listography: Your Life in Lists. It's a really unique way to document your life...by doing one of my favorite things...by creating lists!  The book includes prompts that help you create lists of all the essential information that a journal should include...like your 'best friends', 'goals', 'accomplishments', etc.  But it also provides the opportunity to write down more quirky information...like 'your favorite cartoon shows' or 'list of bands you have seen live'.

Now, this is a journal I can do!

You can find Listography: Your Life in Lists at Chronicalbooks.com (on my favorite link page).
