Sign Me Up!

As a member of large school, church, and neighborhood communities, there are always opportunities for me to get involved, volunteer my time, or help out others during times of need.  Mysignup.com is a really functional site that lets you create sign up sheets for just about anything from bringing a home cooked meal to a sick friend, to volunteering for the next PTA carnival.  The site even offers examples of sign up sheets for various purposes.  Once the sheet is created, it is hosted on its own web page. You just let your group know the address and let them get on, see how others are helping out, and then decide how they want to 'chip' in.  You can use Mysignup for free if you don't mind Google ads being displayed on your web page.  No-ad sheets can also be purchased.  I have had the opportunity to 'sign up' on this site and I found it very easy to use.  For anyone needing an efficient way to round up all those eager volunteers, this site should be on the to-do list.
